Hi all, I've been given the opportunity to leave a wedding portfolio at a local venue. I've been doing some research and am strongly considering getting the following spec. book from Blurb:

Large Square with Premium Paper, Hardcover ImageWrap and the logo removed.

I'm considering using a mix of different photos from various weddings that I have done to keep it looking fresh and interesting to the viewer.

Does the above sound okay for a leave behind Album that will get thumbed through quite often?

I'm not intending to use any text throughout the book unless someone reading this feels that I should? Do I need a title on the front cover? I did consider a brief introduction to me and my services but feel this might be a little cheesy.

Any thoughts or considerations would be very helpful as I've not put one of these together before.

Many thanks. ;)

your name/the name of your business should at least be on the front, I would think. maybe even your contact information as well.

an "about the photographer" at the front describing your experience and philosophy as a wedding photographer could be neat.

one recommendation I have to offer as someone who orders his proof books through blurb: DO NOT FORGET TO ADD A SUFFICIENT BLEED TO YOUR PAGE LAYOUTS. it might not be as important if you're not adding any text, but all the same, remember they'll trim 1/16th-1/8th an inch off of each edge when they print it.

Definitely your contact info and some additional info about yourself, though I might put it as the last page and not the first.

I'd be curious to hear how you came by the offer/opportunity.
