BG-E1 1-2 week delivery from Dell????

Hello everone, I have been lurking and leaning here for a little while now and all I can say is this place is GREAT.

Now onto my first post.....

I have ordered the BG-E2 from Dell. The website gives a shipment date of 1-2 weeks. With all the talk of the grip being a hard item to get, is this 1-2 weeks accurate? Or, is it just a way to get you on the "hook" and later tell me that if will be "a little longer than expected".

Oopps, I just noticed the E1 in my title, chalk that one up to my fat fingers. I meant the BG-E2.

Ignore Dell's shipment dates on the website. They'll send you a revised one when you place the order. Ignore that one too. You may get an email apologizing for the delay and pushing the date out further. It may show up on your door the next day. Or you may get a series of emails pushing the date further and further out. But usually it just shows up on your doorstep a few days after placing the order.

ed2day, That was what I was worried about, My 20D came as promised, but the bg-e2 shows a shipping date of next week. I guess I will just keep checking the order status.
