I have a Canon SX10 IS and some of the information such as Light Metering, My Color Mode, Exposure Com, Owner's Name etc. doesn't show up on all my pictures. Can anyone tell me why? On some of the pictures I have done some adjustments with Photoshop but others I haven't.

If you've edited an image, the EXIF data saved will be only what the editing program knows about; vendor-specific information may not be saved. It's always advisable to perform edits on a copy of the photo, not the original file. It's much easier to start over again if you have a pristine original to work with.

Zoom Browser & EOS Utility Programs that came with the SX10is.... I tried loading them on a NetBook and the program stopped me... " View Area" turns out the NoteBook has a 1024 X 600 view area..Is their any way around this. I just got the Netbook for travel and e-mail. Wanted to download from the SX10is into NetBook then transfer the images over to the external DVD burner for archive for future use.
Is their a utility that I can use on a NetBook to transfer images?

You could use a card reader (if your SX10is doesn't show up as a drive when connected via USB) and transfer the images from the card to the HDD in Windows Explorer, then use whatever burning software you have to make backups of the originals. Just burn a data CD/DVD of your images. Of course, this assumes that you're running WinXP and not Linux, Ubuntu, or some other OS that I have no idea about :p, although I'd think it should be possible with those as well.

Depending on the netbook, you could also use AsTray, a free utility that works with many netbooks using the Intel chipset, to give you a larger virtual screen that will permit Zoom Browser to run.

I use Downloader Pro from Breeze systems to download, rename, and add metadata to all my photos.

Running XP Home.. But the odd thing is and I've only just started looking at what's in the Net Book but theirs no photo editing suite... I see a small "Movie Editor " but no photo edit suite? The other question I forgot to ask.... I'll be using the Net Book on "Free" WiFi as I travel.. Does Picasa work on WiFI
I did not know about " Ashtray" I'll check it out Thanks for the great information every one.......

There isn't one because you really need processing power for photo edits. The movie editor you have may just be the one bundled with XP Home.

Your correct on the Movie Bundle on XP. All I wanted to do was sort and file and them burn to DVD for later use on a larger more powerful system. I'm planning a move and it may be a year before I have a new dedicated system.

Thanks
