Hey everyone,
We are a growing paintball personality and wanted to up our presentations with in game play. I bought an HD helmet camera to get in game shots and video. I was wondering if there is any protection for a very small camera that will not hinder the video content. I wouldn't want it to get hit by a paintball and be out $300 bucks. The camera is somewhat new.... Contour HD camera...so you know what Im working with.
Thanks for your help.

Maybe a piece of Lexan in front of the lens with a good lens shade? It will degrade IQ a bit, and would likely flare badly when you face the sun.

You might check out these guys product if you expand your tools in the future. Given the waterproof options and the shock resistance, I would think it might be able to survive the riggers of paintball impacts but have no first hand experience to provide.
