I couldn't get close enought to this guy so I had to crop...alot. Enjoy or critique, both are welcome.

Thanks Mike, That what makes it for me. Didn't shoot it that way on purpose. I was chasing these things arond the yard waiting for them to land somewhere and Lord and behold I lucked out LOL

I like it a lot with the wooden background. I just bought a macro lens with the hope of shooting some bugs. The problem is that there are more cars than insects in where I live.......

Oh wow! love the composition. Wonderful primary subject (butterfly), nice supporting secondary subject (plant) and perfect background (wood, especially this grey'ish wood). ;)
