I have been playing more with my flash lately. I would like some feedback / pointers on this kind of shot. I have been trying to properly expose sunrise / sunset / cloudy skies in the background. I find that on bright cloudy days I cannot expose for the sky properly. I still get blow outs because the flash is not powerful enough to illuminate the subject when using a very small aperture and short shutter speed. HDR is not an option. It is not something I want to do all the time. It takes too much time and I do not like my results that much. Until camera's get better dynamic range I will have to stick with a flash.
I got a few more of her. But her nose cast too much of a shadow.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers!!
