I'm a little behind on weddings, but I wanted to share this one with you guys. It was a freezing, foggy day in June, but the bride and groom just smiled through it.... It didn't seem to bother them one bit. These 2 were so in love! She was such a pistol, too! So much gusto and personality....I love it!
Anyways, CC is always appreciated:

Julie, 1,2 and 6 are killer shots!!!! Great ring shot as well! I love to see how you get so much better at every wedding you shoot (not that I'm a pro by any means to judge, you know what I mean...:):)), keep up great work!

Isn't is a great location? that's my third time shooting there. I just shot another wedding there last weekend.... my website is starting to look like I only shoot at that location, lol.

thanks, Pham! Coming from you....well you know how I feel about your work :)
What did I learn from this wedding? Hhmm. That's a good question. I learned that the more time that I have, the better. I showed up 2 hours early to get some prep shots and to get the formals of the girls and the bridals.... well, they were'nt ready in that 2 hour frame, so I had plenty of time to get creative with some prep and detail shots.... but this left me having to shoot all the family shots, group bridal shots, B&G shots, and formal bridals all after the ceremony. To say that I was rushed would be an understatement.
So, after all of those photos were taken and the B&G went to eat, I snuck up and asked them if after they were done, they wanted to go and get some more shots of just them... away from everyone else. They were totally game and I got some of my best shots at that point (the bridge shot, for example)
I also learned a few editing techniques that I didn't know before... after many late nights over the last 2 weeks, lol.
As far as what I would do differently next time? I'm not too sure. I would love to be able to bring some OCF set ups for the formals.... I'm buying another 580ex II this week. Maybe next wedding I'll bring my umbrella and stand.... or softbox.

A fun example of how quirky she and her girls were:

She was so excited to have cleavage on her wedding day.... they made such a big deal out of it, lol.

Ok, I thought I posted something on this a minute ago, but it's not showing...I'm looking to learn some new editing techniques, to be specific the brown filter like in the first few shots is exactly what I mean... here is a pic from my last wedding that I havn't touched up much yet and wanted to apply that to it... any help would be great on the how to...
I'm fairly new to using the forum and am still figuring out how to post a pic...
Give me a minute...

well, here is a link for the image as I'm still trying to figure out the attaching images on here. I did find the tutorial on it...but in the mean time if someone can give me a tip on it, or even let me know if it's a filter on the lens, or is it done in PP?

i love images #6-7-8! great work! all with cropped bodies too! question for u, in terms of ISO how high do u bump it during the ceremony/or in low light or should i ask how high of ISO do u feel comfortable with teh 40D and do u shoot off cam flash during those indoor ceremonies?

My ISO varies... I don't go over 800 on the 40D. And I don't usually use OFC during indoor ceremonies..... I move around ALOT, and OFC makes it hard to do that.
I just use my 580 II and diffuser and I'm good to go. OH, and bounce bounce bounce! Even off of Uncle Joe in the white shirt standing next to me. I never have my flash pointing directly forward.... NEVER

Love your work. You must have had a great report with this bride - the only way you get such fun, relaxed images. Bet they were thrilled.
