When shooting your GN do you use a polarizer filter? I'm wondering if any of you lot use it to reduce the shine from the skin, if you dont have a make up artist or a diffuser?

I use a polarizer to increase saturation or remove glare, but I don't think I've ever used one for glamour. It's an intriguing idea and I could see where it would be useful for photography near a pool, on the beach or in harsh light, but I don't do a lot of that type of photography.

Depends on what I'm doing and the background. To help with reflections - yes, to add saturation when shoot wet colorful objects and subjects - yes, to help with skys behind subjects - yes, but to stop blowouts from skin, just pp using highlight and shadow adjustments.
