Took the kids to wonderland today, a small theme park near us. Here are a couple of my favorites. Im going to mess with the pp a little more on these, I know I can get more out of them.

I'd like to see it as a diptych.

Both are marvelous but IMO #2 really grabs the ol' heart strings...

Very well seen, captured and processed as well.

Wow.... beautiful light on these.. is it natural or did you flash it? I love how it falls with a natural vignette due to the foliage....

My vote goes for #2 also, simply because it is timeless... both are beautiful images. I'd love to see more. :)

Had she been looking into the camera in #1 I might have gone for that, but I agree, #2 takes it although they're both wonderful images.

Very nice shots! The processing definitely gives them a "Wonderland" feel.

Thanks for the comments, Im torn between the both so I will just have to print them both.

I did you flash but it was set very low, -2. I also pushed the contrast more and added a little extra vignetting.

Thanks again

FWIW...

While #1 obviously has deep personal meaning for you, #2 (to me) is much more timeless because of the anonymity of the chlid.

It's not "a child" it's "everychild"

Not sure I'm making sense here but I thought I'd share. Both are wonderful but again, #2 is just so intriguing and captivating.

Wonderful shots! To me they seem to have a kind of vintage feel to them....really like that. :)
