This is my first photo post.

For my last trip to Mexico I bought a waterproof case for my s400. Here are my favourites from that trip. I took these on my fourth dive (ever).

They are barely touched up since I used the flash. Just a small amount of colour correction.

This is one of the only pictures I have of the front of a fish, most of the others are their tails. Check out the colour in his eye.

Let me know what you think.

(The dreaded red X and this message when clicked...)

Revisit and there they are... strange.

Excellent pictures, how deep were you?

I think I've repaired the post now.

I think I was probably about 40ft.

40 ft ? It seems to me that there is a little bit too much light for 40ft in #1, but probably its just me, I'm not used to dive in tropical seas. What flash did you used for #2? The on camera or an external strobe ?

The water was very clear, though not perfect as you can see from the particle reflections in the first picture. Quite bright though. The week before these pictures were takey we were in Cozumel and the water there was crystal clear. Unfortunately, the pictures aren't as good.

I just used the on camera flash. The Canon case (WP-DC800) has a diffuser for the flash that helps a bit.
