Started this year (when the season came around atleast) and just been to the local skatepark and surrounding areas taking shots of friends with my Rebel XTi and Tokina 10-17 F3.5-4.5 fisheye. C&C are welcome. Would like to hear which one you guys like or dislike.

*I didn't have the files on my comp anymore so i had to grab them from my facebook and put them through photobucket= hacked quality.

Note- Pretty much all my skateboarding pics are not post edited.

Use your flash. Get some light on the faces.

Don't host on Photobucket. Their compression absolutely robs every photo of any sharpness.

I would love 4 if it was sharper. Awesome composition on it

Good to see you out there giving it a shot. Just be careful of cutting off the subject's arms and such with your framing. Also, as someone mentioned earlier, use some flash! Have a go with some other lenses other than the fisheye too if you can... I think the first shot could have benefited from another viewpoint at least. Can't wait to see your next bunch :)

I dig #4...the horizontal positioning of the board and the vertical body in motion grab my attention, would have like to have seen the image a little sharper. Nice shots altogether though...keep up the good work.

Hmmm flash to fill during day? I'll give it a shot, would that include even just the pop up flash- don't have an off camera yet.

I have some shots with jsut a 15-55 but didn't find them as interesting, maybe i'm just hooked on the fisheye :p

I really appreciate the comments everyone, i love to improve. One question- how would i go about getting a shot 'sharper'? Is that simply a faster shutter speed so its more frozen still or is that in PP?
Thanks again, love this forum! As many people have said, #4 is my favourite too.
