Hope this is the right forum for this question. Can you use the older manual focus Canon lenses on the new Canon DSLR camera's?

You mean FD lenses? I think there are adaptors you can buy to use them. Any EF lens will work on any EOS body.

Yes I am referring to the FD series of lenses like the one's I used on my old Canon AE-1P.

Yes, there are adapters available so that you can mount a fd lens on an eos camera. However, many issues: man focus, inf. focus, quality, stop down metering,etc. Unless it is a really great Fd lens (500/4.5L, 600/4.5, 800/5.6L,) most people would advise you to sell your fd lenses and put the $ toward new ef lenses.
