Great capture! It's sad to see that football clubs are being treated as financial commodities, but that's the way it is. I'd love to see ManU being owned by the fans themselves, but there's no chance of that I guess.

Good captures. Technically they need improvement, but I don't think you were going for anything artsy fartsy. Brave of you to get so close.

The third one, was a setup shot by one of the pro's , his had the main entrance in the shot, he didn't care about me shooting it but one of the junior photog's snapped it before he got a chance, size 10's were suitably applied.
The shots were taken from behind or to the side of the pros, so when they moved I wasn't going to be in the way
The fans just wanted as much publicity as possible so there was never going to be any trouble if you had a camera in your hand.

You can feel the tension in those piccies.
However, I notice no Man Utd fan is complaining of the success being floated on the stock market brought them in the first place.

Lots of tension Kentish, and I agree, I thought they loved it when it first had a cash inflow into the club. Changed their tune now.

great photos, they would look good in any newspaper.
as for the sale........well business is business as they say, and money talks. if the fans don't like it...then don't give them any of your hard earned cash...watch them on TV instead.

Worse thing of all it's how the fans are seen by the clubs. Nobody has made a brand out off football like Man U. There's not really many football fans here that feel sorry for them, apart from their own. They've often used their buying power to take what they want, sombody's using theirs now to take what they want
Some see it as poetic justice, i'd be one of them :D
Yes i'm a Manchester City fan:p
Good shots by the way, i was thinking of going down myself, but i'm not sure me laughing at rival fans would have gone down to well:)

Ta mate, couldn't resist it after all the stick I've had over the past few years from followers of this particular "soccer" club. Nice to see someone else's team in more debt than my own, and believe me it took some doing!
