The bottom compartment of my Primus with the padded inserts is full. Does anyone know of a good insert that can go in the top compartment of the Primus (11.8W X 6.3D X 11.8H inches)?

Thats looks very promising, but I can't see the inside of it anywhere. Also is the small called a "demi"?

Yes it is, but I can't find pictures either. The Large ICU is included in f-stop bags so you might check a few reviews here.

I really don't want to spend too much money on upgrading my already expensive Primus. It would probably be ideal if I can find some cheap padded inserts.

Pick up a closed-cell foam backpacker's sleeping pad. Cut and glue it to your desired specifications.

I made my own Domke-style inserts: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=706239

Just head for your local outdoors store (REI, EMS, HTO, etc.) and look for an ensolite pad. I can't remember who made the last one I got, but it's still providing padding 6-7 years later.

I buy mine at the local Walmart. Extremely cheap.
