I found the guide to building an online business from the folks at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA. Might help those just starting out.

I'm curious. They say they're the Virginia Tech Foundation (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=5&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FVirgini a_Polytechnic_Institute_and_State_University&ei=ReF-Sp_4A4eCMseqtOYC&usg=AFQjCNEIyowiz-eSwFs1i1RMmBI9rVDxWA&sig2=e6xDBsBhJS0ekiEgfpgvhg), but they're using an .org url instead of the vt.edu url.

And while they're in Blacksburg, VA, none of their street addresses match up, either.

EDIT: It's been pointed out to me by Jon that "They say (http://www.businessguidebook.org/about-us.html) that "The proceeds that are generated benefit the Virginia Tech Foundation and fund scholarships, research efforts, and student projects. ", which isn't the same thing. It appears (from one of the linked book reviews) to have been a class project that's being self-published by the prof."

It is certainly useful when starting a business, but it's more a yellow pages of providers for the things you have to do than a "business guide" with advices on how to start up a business.

Still, it's useful. Thanks for the link
