Does anyone know where I could get an aftermarket all weather cover for my bag? Going to be traveling in a country with unpredictable weather soon and I need rain protection for my gear.

Similar to this:

or more specifically this:

Thanks in advance.

I have an REI Duck's Back 40 for the day pack I take to and from work. Designed for backpacks. Or just pick up a large garbage bag for use as needed. Or a backpacker's poncho that will cover both you and the bag.

Check with any decent outdoors/camping store, they should be able to set you up. Bring your bags with you to check the fit.

What kinda bag do you have? I got a lowepro fastpack 350 and I'm not sure what size would fit my bag. I'm guessing it would be either a 20 or 40 liter?

Tamrac sells separate waterproof covers for their bags. See if your bag has similar dimensions. REI and other outdoor stores sell covers for backpacks.

I have a Jansport computer bag. REI gives dimensions for the covers on their site; take your bag dimensions with you.

This appears to be what I was looking for, thanks for posting.

and give it and the bags to a sewer with a lowepro AW backpack print as a sample, so he can cut the material based on my bags size

it has a same material with AW cover from lowepro ^^

i know that i can find things like this easily in adventure store, but there`s no advnture store here, so i decided to try by making it from bike cover.

n so far i`m so happy with it.

I sprayed my Canon 200EG backpack with a silicone spray (bought from a local Wal-Mart in the camping section with bright orange lid on it) which seems to keep the water from soaking into it. I have used this same spray on jackets, shoes, soccer bags, etc and it seems to work great and repels water for a long time before needing to spray again. I also carry a few trach bags with me just in case and I will likely be shooting in the rain this weekend for a tournament, so hopefully I can keep everything dry!

Here's an update for those who are also wondering-

I bought the "Duck's Back Rain Cover 20 liters" from REI and it fits the bag(Lowepro Fastpack 350) perfectly. Cost was about $20 USD picked up at store, and is all that I was looking for. Cover's entire bag just like the all weather covers from our favourite bag manufactures and can compress into a tiny little bag when not in use. Will update with pics later.
