Can anyone suggest a good plug in for black and white and sepia conversion. I used to have the best one, I can't remember the name, but it had several varying degrees of black and whites and sepia tones, including one in particular that had a purpleish hue to it that I really liked a lot...please help!!

Don't mean to Not answer your question....but in my opinion, as far as sepia/B/W conversions go, you can do anything convert you want to any degree you want on CS3 or CS4.
I don't know what you use in your post processing. To me plug-ins for something like sepia/B/W create something thats not original enough.
just my thought.

One of the best ones around is Nik's Silver Efex Pro (http://www.niksoftware.com/silverefexpro/usa/entry.php), but it is rather pricey. However, if you look in the POTN Sell Forum you just might find a great price on a license... ;)

If you haven't you should give actions a try.
Here is a link to a page of free actions just for bw conversion.
