Finally, got around to picking my camera up and experimenting a bit with a concept that came to me the other day. Check out my blog for a photo build up of how this photo was created.

Radical shot. Errr... group of shots.

I prefer the stand alone glass (last edit on blog). Great idea and execution. :)

yea, I mean I would have obviously preferred to do it in one shot as it would have cut my post time down greatly, but with this concept, its virtually impossible.

Reminds me that I spent too long away from photoshop. Simply great and IMO the last edit on the blog is best. KISS usually works best. ;)

Yeaa, I'm starting to think that too. I like both, but I felt this image was a little more fun and complicated and the other was clean and elegant.

Thanks guys. I took everyone words into consideration and it looks like the consensus was the vertical orientation shot without the rest of the smoke is preferred. It has been added to my portfolio. Thanks for your help.
