Ugh! And here I am thinking the spitfire couldn't get any uglier. I've never seen a good picture of a two seater haha.

Nice pictures man. I love how close and sharp they are. Nice job.

My favorites are the Hurricane MKIIc (c version because of the four 20mms), P40, and corsair! Love that Sea Fury as well.

That first shot is amazing! Ok, so it is a trainer, but it is still a fantastic shot.

A Spitfire? Ugly?

Sir, you need some help!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, the Hurri is nice, but The spitfire is the best looking fighter ever!!!!!

Fabulous Bernie! what sort of gear are you using? Loved the Fury also, we used to have one at Ardmore (local warbirds airfield) but I haven't seen it for several years now. Yes I too think Jackal needs a diopter adjustment -there hasn't been very many better looking aircraft produced since the Spitfire.

I'm more fond of the German rugged looking planes. I think there's a beauty about the Me-109's, FW-190's (Antons and Dora versions), Me-110's, Me-262's, Ju-87's, etc.

Beauty is this! (http://www.rlm.at/galerie/08/me109g10_1602.jpg)

But to each his own my friend! :)

Wonderfull shots.. I love all these classic planes.. simply beautifull (we have some But Ugly fighters now a days.. the F-18 is the ugliest bird in the sky!)

As for the Spitfire,. one of the ultimate beauties for usre,. the two seater does not hurt it in my eyes :)

The Italians made some stunning fighters as well... (Macchi and Fiat) classic Italian design.. they looked like Ferraris! :)

I agree with everyone else here, great shots. I'm starting to really like vintage airshows after attending my first one last month.
