Creepy... Stephen King's "The shining" comes to mind for some reason. Part of it is the obvious neglect of the road, part of it is the little child on the bike, I guess.

The B&W works well here. Like vetteo says...creepy. I look at this picture and the subject just doesn't belong here, which is what makes this shot so interesting.

Yeah. ...or maybe the subject is not the little girl, or the headstones. The subject is "life," represented by the starting (child) and the ending (headstones) components of it. Maybe I just need to listen to the Doors a little more and light a candle. :)

That is a very good photo

There are add campaigns in the UK that use shock tactics in adds for drivers who speed "kill your speed" is the logo. They've used some very powerful adds involving children, and that shot just reminds me of them
