I have a neighbor who is a bike builder, and he asked me to shoot some pictures of a tank he just painted. It's got a flame finish, and another set of flames in a transparent flake that only shows up in the sunlight. Here's my quick attempt at capturing them, but I can't seem to grab all of the flames at once because of the angles.
I didn't really know how to set up for this shoot, so I just put up a workbench table with a sheet over it for a test run. I shot it with my 50D, 10-24mm Tamron lens with a circular polarizer. I tried turning the polarizer around to bring the rainbow out as much as possible.
I'm open to ANY suggestions about how to grab this effect and shots of this tank better. I don't have any reflectors, but I could probably wrangle something up. Thanks!
