Went to the start of the Gumball 3000 in London today. Had a good time and shot off 296 frames.

Found out just how much you can get away with if you have a camera bag and expensive looking camera with Canon on various straps and flaps.

Got into 2 private areas I shouldn't have been allowed to. Start talking to someone and no-one kicks you out! :D Talked to a lot of very nice Gumballers, took photos, gave them my card, and most seemed like they really appretiated it and would check back for the photos. (Having a sexy business card helps a lot when your main target are men ;) )

But this was the crown of the day. I saw a bunch of pros in front of a pink Range Rover. Hmmm, thinks I, Daryl Hannah is driving a pink Range Rover, and pro photogs means celebs! So I hung around the back of them. With my camera bag and CANON printed around my neck I looked like the rest of them, so when the police cleared out everyone behind me, I was left 2nd row and centre waiting for Daryl. When she came out I got a few OK shots. She was being awkward with her hat and sunglasses, but I was more proud I got to stay there than that I got the shot :)

All in all a good day.

The wrap is a fantastic idea. Temporary crazy paint job that protects your real paint! Fantastic!

LOL That was while I was waiting for Team Poliezei to pose with the car for me (God I was working it that day!), a girl started posing on the Esprit next to me, and as you can see, was enjoying the attention. Who was I to refuse?
