Saw this yesterday. I think it's an Apache. Anyway, it's a lot bigger than I expected.

Nice shot of one heck of a beast.
If you really want to be specific it's a Longbow Apache! Radar dome on it's rotors gives it that name.
It uses it to peak over obstacles like mountains and hills and uses it to aquire it's targets, pops up for a few seconds, fires it's hellfires, good bye enemy tanks, hides again.

That's an awesome bird. I had a chance to climb in one of those once. It's amazing. Wish thay had taken me for a ride. Thanks for sharing.

How RUDE of me! I just realised that I didn't even mention how sharp your photo looks. Sorry, I get to be absent minded from time to time.
That Bird is "Loaded for Bear" from the looks of it. :shock:
