Got this shot at the Oklahoma 5A State Finals game. The throw was high (can you tell?), and no way the tag could be made it seems.

Crop, crop crop, and you have yourself a much better photograph.

I see no way to crop this. I mean I do, but I don't. I could crop it tight, and it would be square. I am not a square image person, and in arguments with my photo buddy, I need to learn. But what good is a square image to the majority of the world? You have 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, 13x19, etc. images, and even monitors are not square. But yeah, if it was cropped square and was tighter, it would look better, but what to do with it....?

that's what matting is for... non-conformist images. I end up with lots of images like this because I rely on my center focus to keep my lense in focusing on other stuff... so I have plenty just like this. good catch none-the-less.
