I am very new to HDR-but after my recent vacation I thought it may be worth buying a program to help get the most of my pictures. Hopefully this isn't overdone-as I am still figuring out-I was trying for a more natural HDR if there is such a thing.
We were on our way to the Blow Fly restaurant in Gulfport, Mississippi-which I had seen on the food network channel when we crossed a bridge and saw two boats stranded-they were most likely wash ups from Hurricane Katrina-They hadn't moved in a loooong time!
This is the processed I used. when I took the photo I didnt have the HDR program so I didnt know about taking three seperate photographs.
I took this one picture using RAW, then converted it to a TIFF file, using that file I made three different exposure and combined them in photomatrix.
It was about 30 minutes before sunset, and I was hand holding the 30d with the 17-40L, I am trying to decide if the horizon needs straightening too-any C and C welcome, Please tell me what needs correcting etc.
