   :D
I did my first wedding shoot today it was HARD! things were so busy and hectic! I got some great shots and some not so great shots. and there was an error with my CF card and I am MAD! there were about five lost pictures some important. I dont know where the pictures went I previewed them checked the histogram and everythign they were there I get home and download them to my computer and they were gone. so I went back through the pics on the camera and they werent there! This was just a favor for my friends so its not SUPER bad that there were a few lost they were just happy to have any pictures taken at all (small budget low key really non formal wedding) I am giving them the good ones in an album as part of there gift. there were others taking pictures too so I wasnt the only one. I am not sure that I will EVER photograph a wedding again. I do have another one scheduled for July (I am secondary photographer) I will probably do that wedding as its for a friend also but thats it. I wouldnt want to do weddings for a living there is too much risk involved. its not like you can go back and do a re shoot. anyway here are a couple I converted to black and white and adjusted.

i know that feeling - i often get requests to do weddings and try to get out of them, for the reasons you say, risk if it all goes wrong, But I do enjoy doing them.

The pictures may not be completely lost - I had that happen on a CF card, for about 90 pictures I took at a bike show.

this free program recovered every picture except one

agree with the comments on B&W theres some great tutorials on the web for converting to black and white and the results are considerably better.

i have listed a few here

thanks :) I perpously made them look this way they are not quite black and white. I took some of the blue out (that made them a slight bit brown) which is what I wanted. I have converted just black and white and I dont like them as much. I will let them make the choice. thanks for the link on the recovery I will try that.
