Yes, it's progress I suppose. I kinda liked that camera - all my old film SLR cameras had been Olympus. The P&S was great at the time, but it really ate AA batteries. Olympus really dropped the ball early with the move to dSLR. I doubt they'll ever recover from that, but their microscopes are excellent - I have two in my lab. (They're much better than their Nikon equivalents!)
