Any thoughts on what type of building it is? It is a place where someone lives, but it is not a hotel.

Roy is in Hertsfordshire, so I started thinking it was his home. I was wrong.

Looks like privately occupied dwellings to me. There must be some historic significance (with that blurred out sign). It must be either Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire as Bucks has already been eliminated... :) I cannot find it in National Trust listed buildings either. Good luck!

Once it was Arizona I searched for amphitheatre and indian and they came up pretty quickly... :) Could not find a picture of the exact spot though.

Yes I am back...

I noticed that and also noticed that the notice board is in a slightly other position than on one photo I found on the internet.

But I am pretty sure Berman got the wrong lighthouse "in his head...". The point is... there are two very similar - but not exactly similar - ones. :)

It is Tacking Point Lighthouse (just south of Port Macquarie). The other lighthouse is further south and very similar but like you noticed with slightly different appearance.
