tonylong
27th of August 2009 (Thu), 14:45
Hey, I think my logic was good:

1) Is it east of Carlisle? If no, then

2) Is it west of Carlisle? If no, then either it is in Carlisle or on a north/south line running through Carlisle.

So, you inadvertantly answered both no it is not in Carlisle and it's not on a north/south line by, instead of simply saying "no" to #2, adding "you should automatically realize that if it's not east of Carlisle that means it's west of Carlisle"!

Hah! See, you saved me an additional question (but got this typing jig going anyway):)!

Is it in the first half of marker numbers between 1 & 1446 ?
Then the same question for the remaining 723, 361, 180, 90, 45, 22, 11, 5, 2 and bingo.
