Just out of curiousity...do you know how much one of these would cost? I know my fiance has R/C petrol cars and they are around $900 - $1500..just wondered if they were more? Great shots!

Sandi,
Most of what you see here are between $5000 & $20,000 US$. This was a giant scale meet so there were a few that were less expensive, but not many.

Thanks to everyone for your comments. It WAS a lot of fun. If you ever get a chance to go, do it.

Whoaaaaaaaa!! Unbelievable! I spin out when the fiance spends the amount he does on his petrol cars... not to mention the replacement parts when something goes wrong!! Lol. Thanks for the info!

Simply amazing. Some of the in flight pictures look so real that you would never beleive they were remote controlled, miniature aircraft. Great work!

That has to be one potentially VERY expensive hobby.

Just a little historical gripe; inthe shot that appears to be Snoopy shaking his fist at a Triplane behind him he appears to be flying a Sopwith Pup rather than a Camel.

That aside, some good and entertaining shots here.

WOW Danny! I've enjoyed every one of your photos in this series. :D
I'll bet it's a BEAR to sync the engines in those multi engine planes like the B-17, and B-25. Sweet shots.

Some of those planes are big enough to ride on. :D

Bi-Planes have always been my favorite and I've built a few, but nothing bigger than a .35 engine in them. It's really amazing. I remember back a number of years when the jet models had to have prop engines in them. It looks like they have real jet engines now... or they hide the tubine fans better.

Excellent job and great pictures.

Mike,
Those are real turbine engines. They sound exactly like a jet. They are about 4" in diameter and about 6" long on average. Some are larger. Glad you enjoyed the photo's

Thanks again to all for your comments.

Thinking the same thing myself, some of those planes are huge! (well for a Remote control ;) ) that looks like lots of fun, nice shots.
