Spent the afternoon out in the garden today and this little fellow decided to join me. He kept picking up little bits of grass and hedge cuttings, I guess for a nest. I went in the get the camera and he did me the honour of posing for a few shots.

I'm really chuffed with this one. Taken at ISO400 with the 300D and the Sigma 70-300 APO II. Enjoy!

Great shot. They are great for posing, they have very little fear. Lovely colours.

Great shot! What focal length was that shot at? I just bought that lense and I love it so far!

Cheers! 214mm according to the EXIF. I manged to get to about 10 foot away from him as I think he'd got used to me being about in the garden.

Great capture...very sharp. Robbins are such great birds, I have one in the kids tree fort and we are always checking on the babys. Momma does not do much squawking but we never touch the nest or babys.
