Anyone know the GN for the 380ex?
I checked Canon's website but couldn't find it.

Flyingpete wrote in another thread that the flash number is the GN with an extra zero. So a 380ex would be GN 38. I have no idea how true this is but that's what I came up with in a search for you.

It varies depending on the ISO used and the postion the flash head is zoomed to. At ISO 100 with the zoom head set for a 50mm lens, GN is 137.8./42 (ft/m). And with the head in the 105mm position, GN is 190.3/58 (ft/m).

Oops! :o Just noticed that Clark was asking about the 380EX and not the 580EX! Sorry, Clark, I gave you the wrong specs.
Here's what you were really asking for:
GN (meters) for 380EX @ ISO 100
Flash Coverage..............24 28 35 50 70 105
Normal (full) Output (G.N.) 21 23 28 31 33 38
