My mean cat (you can tell) :)
Testing my off-camera flash (90deg left, hard light) triggered by the newly acquired RF flash trigger. This is my first OCF pet photo so comments are very welcome!

It's beautiful, but if you're capturing the whole head, try to keep the ears in the frame too. It will look better :)

A tight crop seemed more suitable for the 'mean look' I was going for. Here is the full frame (is that better?):

Oh sorry, I didn't know you had cropped it :)
They both look good but I just thought that you had uploaded a original image so I just wanted to mention that the next time you're taking a portrait, try to keep all the head parts in. The original is lovely, I think the ears give it something extra. But ofcourse if you cropped then it's okay :D

I really enjoy cutting out aspects of the head actually.. I prefer the first shot, much more intimate! A bit more artist value than a head shot of a cat.

LOVE IT. The only thing i think would have made the cat stand out is if the contrast was a bit higher? There isn't much lighting to it.
