Well between rain showers today I went to this small park about 2 blocks from my house and took these. I have gained a huge appreciation for the skill (and lens size) it takes to take good wildlife photos. These furry little critters wouldn't let me very close. F4.5, ISO 400, 1/640 with 4L at 200mm. I took them hand held and I see a tripod would have come in real handy. Any c&c welcome.

Very nicely done! They are hard critters to capture, even when they appear to be sitting still, they can move at a blink of the eye!

Thanks! I'm not entirely sure what he's eating. It almost looks like a string of popcorn. Good question! I didn't think to stop to check out the area there after he left. I was too busy trying to sneak up on other squirrels, robins, crows, and swallows.
