Fine set of pics Kevin, great one of Donnelly, but I prefer Ferry's in colour, Marty Taggert's is top class.

Super shots ... Question ... is there purpose to all the extra
on the Metro 6R4 car ...
I ask because it it my favorite of the set as well.
I think it is the extra. I would like to know what it is.
Thank you. ☭

Lovely shots. It certainly seems to have been a very popular event for us 'Norn Irish' snappers.:D Eugen Ferry's MkII was a stunner. It was immaculately prepared, in it's Rapid-Fit look-alike livery. It was also the noisest car there !! Something to do with the awesome Millington Diamond 2.5 litre engine.....

Thanks 1Twist, Metro 6R4 were a GroupB special they had a 3.0litre engine in the back and four wheel drive. The extra was required to hold all this "GRUNT" also the front and rear wings helped it fly better over the jumps:D
Have a real soft spot for these cars. This particular car is a replica of the 1986 Circuit of Ireland winning car .
