It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission ;) Congrats on your new lens, I got mine last week and I haven't had much of a chance to play with it yet, I will this weekend :)

Congrats! That's awesome. I ordered my 70-200mm f/4L and I can't wait until I have it in my hands. Wish I had the cash to get the 2.8!!! Can't wait to see the great pics you take with your new lens. Enjoy it! :-)
