I totally thought I posted this here a while back but it appears that I never got it posted. Anyway, This is a shot with a 50mm 1.8 mounted looking at a mirror through my 85mm 1.8.
Pretty crazy but the only thing photoshopped is the desaturation of the edges.

Welcome to POTN, JamesH
Umm. Are you sure that the desaturated lens you're holding is mounted? It looks more like the short end (mounting end) is visible to me. Very confusing :)

Haha, Im looking through the 85mm but the 50mm is the one mounted on the camera.

Its like you're taking a picture of yourself in a mirror. But you hold an extra lens between you and the mirror.

I love the effect you've captured. I think I'll give it a go but I am unsure if I can do it as well as you.

Thanks! Its pretty simple. A tripod would probably help a lot too.
