I need a bag that will hold my 20D and say 3 or 4 lenses also capable of carrying my 17" HP Notebook. I have looked at a I think Lowepro but 169.00 at B&H and 189.00 else where and that at this time is out of range for me. I just purchased a lens that took what I had saved. Does any one out there offer something simular with a smaller price tag?

Not that I'm aware of. You are asking a fair bit of a bag. Something that will adequetly store a camera, lenses, and a laptop is going to be large and by necessity expensive.

As an alternate you may want to just pick up a large shoulder bag (A large diaper bag would be good if you can find one that doesn't have too much baby stuff on it), some batting from a local craft store, and a cardboard box. cut the box to form dividers, duct tape them in place, and then cover the card with the batting to provide some protection.

Check out the Lowepro Stealth 650. It holds a LOT and has a significantly lower price than the ones listed in the first post. It has a good sized laptop slot, but I'm not sure how big your laptop is.

Its $145 from Adorama up to $195 from ebags. So not really that much cheaper. Pity as I also would quite like a throw everything in bag for travel.
