anything I can find--the canon 100-400 just arrived and is sitting in the brown B&H box at my feet in my cube. Can't wait to take it out this weekend--it's supposed to be beautiful here! And to be honest, in 35 years of photography, i've never shot over 200mm so it's a whole new experience. :)

Just got a new tripod with a "pan lock" feature so I will go try my luck with a panorama at the local park.

Was going to go out and get some sunset shots of a new wind farm and some old world war two coastal gun emplacements. The weather has just completely packed in though. Might try again tomorrow or wait till next weekend.

I drove from Duluth to Thunder Bay today. Shooting all along the way. Waterfalls. And also tried out my new GND system on some Lake Superior landscapes. I will see how it worked. The histogram looked good though.

On Monday I'm taking my 10 y.o. daughter to the airport (DCA), and we're going to photograph planes taking off and landing. I'll take my XSi and she'll bring her Nikon p&s. Wx looks good for the day.
