Anyone going to this? It's a short ride for me. What would be the best days? Do they cruise the beach? Any shots from previous events there?

I go most years. In my opinion, Saturday is the best day. And yes, they cruise all up and down the beachfront on US 90.

First or last Saturday..or both? I'd probably spend one night, main draw would be the cruising, not the parked cars.

Definitely the last Saturday... The first few days, people are still getting into town. By Thursday, all of the coast is completely swamped in cruisers... for locals, if you're not going to be participating, most people stay in, because it's just too hard to get around with all the cruisers everywhere. It gets pretty nuts, especially around the official event sites. That said, almost anywhere you go, there are impromptu hangout spots, with people who often just bring chairs and coolers and just watch the world go by, from the side of the road.

It's nice that it is in October because the weather here is just about perfect in Oct - Nov.

The coolest and prettiest cities for cruising are Ocean Springs and Bay St. Louis. But there is 22 miles of coast line to drive, 6 very nice small towns, etc.. more than enough to explore and enjoy.

For Cruisers there are many many sponsored events, sock hops, burn out spots, there's even an official drag strip here that is always fun to check out.

We're expecting over 7,000 registered vehicles and there's usually twice that many out and about.

If you're coming in a classic car, it's worth it to register, so that you can get in to all the events. (Some places like Downtown Ocean Springs, are closed off completely, unless you're a registered cruiser)

Anyways, definitely come if you can... I'd read somewhere, that this was the #2 cruising event in the US behind Hot August Nights in Reno... but that last year, it had overtaken the #1 spot.

Bring a camera, because there is a ton of stuff to shoot.

The last Saturday, if you have to chose one or the other.

I want to come!

What day is the actual cruise or is it constantly going on all the time?

There's dozens of official cruises every day in different venues, as well as poker runs, etc..

Then, there's just popular drives along the coast, that are filled with classic cars - so much so, that as I said, most locals don't even bother to go out, because it's too hard to get anywhere when you got people just cruisin around.. (damn cruisers getting in my way!) ;-)

I don't have a 'cruiser' or classic...

Can I run something else? Probably going to come down in a friends RV and might tow my convertible. It meets all the 'requiresments' for 81 and newer cars...
