I spent Friday evening at 13 & Woodward. Traffic was pathetic as there would be cars left in the intersection who couldn't move out of it when the light changed because cars from the next light up still hadn't moved.

I got a few shots that I liked, but was scraping the bottom of the barrel to get 8 for this thread. Still, we can all learn something from "Almost" shots.
Mostly, I learned to not go back there tonight! LOL!

Frank - I'd love to see what you could do with that Chevy in #8 in a formal setting. That shot is great, but that color must really put on a good show with the right lighting.

Frank - I'd love to see what you could do with that Chevy in #8 in a formal setting. Me, too. There were soooooo many nice '57s out there. And sooooo many mini vans in the shots, too. These were the shots that had mostly Classics in them.
shame about your shadow in #1 I thought about that when I was shooting it. I waited 5 minutes for the P&S people to get out of the way & it was the best angle. Besides, I expected that it would insure that the thread would get at least one comment? ;) ....can almost hear the thunder. Wounderful. Listening to them was one of the best parts of the Cruise experience. There was a guy in a '50 Ford who just let it idle along on the cam lope & the sound was unbelievable! Great shot of the roadster. I lucked out! I think the light on it came from a giant lcd screen parked in the median.

I talked to the guy with the 'Vette in #4 while he was filling up at the Shell station & asked him if he had an ET on it. He said that he'd just worked out front end problems & that was next on his list to find out.

If I see him again at a meet, I'll find out all the good stuff for you. You picked a great spot with Mcy'Ds in the background... It looks good, but I won't try it on Saturday again as I said. Maybe early in the week would work best.
