Took my new lens(Sigma 50 -500) out for a test run and came accross this White fronted bee-eater. It was a lovely model to test my new lense with.

I find that I learn allot about birds across the world looking at all the pictures on this forum. Thank you for your comments

Oh wow! Great capture birch! This is the 1st bee-eater image i've ever seen(or heard about). Thanks for sharing. I agree with tupe, a Bird section would be nice. So that the birdwatchers in the forum could help amatures like me easier to ID the birds. ;)

Birch, i'm looking forward for more images taken by your new Sigma 50-500(Bigma) because I am saving $$$ to get one too. :)

OOOh, love it!!!Beutiful bird, thanks for sharing. Really like geting critters from parts other then the U.S.
