I like the first one, it doesn't look posed. The second, where you have chopped off her forehead and chin doesn't do anything for me.

Agreed Vetteography, framing problem for the second one, doesn't do it for me as well, first one is better, cheers

I recognise this girl. Have you posted shots of her before or have I met her in a previous life?

Nice pics by the way. I like the cropped look and think the eyes are great.

Number 2 is okay fer me... the close crop is okay, but I don't even think crop angles, I just see those eyes! I think I may have a daughter with the same colour eyes. What is that colour? Green-blue?

Victor,

I like both of them and actually prefer the second one...personally, I don't mind such "aggressive" crops in portraits, I think that the way you framed this second picture brings the viewer's eyes directly to your daughter's ones, good job...

Finally, both images produce kind of nostalgic feeling, your daughter's expression certainly adds to that...

thanks for sharing,
T.O.

I think both shots are very good, the b&w suits the pose and the colour suits the crop with the focus on the eyes.......perhaps a crop from the side, close or even crop some of the hair would have made it even better. Either way, your daughter is an very photogenic!

She have a very beautiful "natual" look. Wish I looked that good without make up and in a close up! :)

A great natural beauty! Too bad #2 was cropped so tightly.

i have the same camera and despite it's criticism here on some of the forums i absolutely love it and am so happy you posted these beautiful pictures.

for the second, who cares about the crop - it's about those mesmirizing eyes and that gorgeous sun kissed skin.

beautiful work!!! :D

I bet she has a good sense of humour ... it's in the eyes!

Actually that was the idea of the crop, to enphasize on the eyes, but who knows maybe its better without it, thanks guys for the imput, it will keep me motivated and learnig from it!!!!!
