Quezon Province celebrates the Pahiyas Festival every May 15. Lucban, a town of Quezon, is noted for the way they celebrate the festival. This festival is celebrated in honor of San Isidro Labrador, the patron saint of farmers. It is a form of thanksgiving for abundant harvests.
The houses are bedecked with their products or farm produce. Here are just some pics of these houses...
(In the first pic, the orange "petals" is actually a kiping. Kiping is made of rice. You fry it to be edible. In the core of the flower is the noodles called pancit habhab.)

Great shots! I really miss that festival. Looks like you got a fine camera there :) Can we have those photos again with a bit of boost on the saturation?

Thanks! :) The first one is my favorite, too! As for the dog, good thing she does not have prima donna "airs"... ;)

I often read in the forum about saturation, but what is it for? Am not sure how much adjustment ("boost") I have to do. Is there a fixed rule on this or it is trial-and-error? :o
Anyway, tried to adjust the saturation of one of the pics...

Thanks! :D The "Ati-Atihan" would be in Aklan. Can't recall when exactly is the date of the festival there...
