Hey Marie, I think the second shot would have looked good with just the word 'whipped'....but then I have a warped sense of humour. The fact that you have such nostalgic buildings closeby, I am envious, good shotz!
Roger.

just showing these two shots, as I think I named the wrong castle http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif
( they are almost together )
probably they were part of each other... years ago
(King John's)
these scenes are taken from the roadway, almost beside the picture above
and very close to the shot of the boat in another post
thanks again
these are the mourne mountains: 'sweeping down to the sea '
(like in the song)

thank you very much Jporter and Dan
it's difficult to do other things when bringing up kids.
why I always encourage young people to see and experience the world a bit before they get married, if at all possible
http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif
(they may not be so restless later on then)

I did have a shot of James without the whole door of the cabin showing http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif
he came out a bit clearer
a lot of elderly people were around on a day trip
I met them further up in the village, all licking icecream coneshttp://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif
and I asked them were the cones nice ?
they loved them. and this is who they bought them off.
I got one later
