Some waterfall shots from Yamanashi & FujiNomiya city in Japan.
Taken with sigma 18-125 mm with CPL/ND filter & then enhanced with PSCS.
Comments/suggestions very much appriciated. Please let me know if this works for you or looks overdone ...... FYI, the contrast in green is real as new leaves are blooming now ....

There are a few more waterfall shots in my pBase gallery.

Wow, those are gorgeous waterfall shots, Raj!
#1 is my favorite. Great composition. #2, #3 are nice but the lighting is pretty tough to shoot/balance. Thanks for sharing.

I agree, love the first one, but the second would probably be stunning if the light wasn't so harsh making it hard to shoot.

#1 is great. I think, with less rocks in the left corner (down, border of river) will be much better. Very good. What setting did you use?

I would have to agree with this guy. I would crop the rocks out of the left side bottom corner. That would look sweet. Other than that, they dont look overdone at all. Great shooting. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everybody for posting your comments. I will try editing them later as you suggested :-)

Unfortunately I had to take all these shots almost at the noon. I didnt knew their location to begin with & although I started early, hiking took much more than I expected on all days ....

jesc, all of them were shot with min. aperture to get a slow shutter in Av mode. I used a ND filter also, however it was so bright that even though I used ND filter, iso100 & min. aperture I could hardly get 1 sec exposure...

Wonderful shots! All of them are good, but I especially liked number one! Thanks for sharing! How much do you use the Sigma 18-125?

Thanks Gtogs, glad you liked them.
Sigma 18-125 is my main lens & I am quite happy with it. However I recently purchased 70-200 EX HSM & that is awesome ! So I now want to cover 18-70 properly with some L lens combo.
As for sigma, I will keep it because it is a good lense overall & I just orders 62 mm IR filter for it.

How do you rate 17-40 L ? I am not sure I should go for 17-40L or 16-35 L..

So you went to Shiraito Falls! I have been there many times. The lighting is very difficult because
the main falls at the left is usually in the sun while the rest is in the shade. You can see two which I took here:

I'm not 100% satisfied with them so I'll probably go and retake them sometime.
The best time must be very early before the sun hits them. Then you can use a 1 or
2 second shutter speed and make them nice and misty like this one of mine:
