Several shots made at the Fabulous Fords Show in Manchester, TN. I experimented on a few to attempt something different and left others alone. Critique would be appreciated.

1. 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint V8 Convertible. Beautiful car. I went for a "poster-edged" sort of look with this one.

2. Some clean looking "linkage and lines" on a '66 Fairlane Motor.

3. '68 Shelby G.T. 350 Mustang with Halibrand-type wheels. I spent many an hour cruising in one of these in High School (unfortunately it wasn't mine!).

4. (English) Ford Anglia with "Gull-wing" hood.

5. Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt 427 factory drag motor complete with giant ram-air snorkles (negative).

6. And thrown in for fun ... some signs on our local "dealership row"!

Good work with these. The treatment of the background in #1 is an interesting way to go, but I'd be inclined to include a soft shadow under the car.

Thanks for the comments PhotosGuy. I agree with regards to the shadow. I had waited to shoot the Falcon until the sun was behind a large bank of clouds. Later, onscreen, I could hardly make out where the shadow lay and I am quite pitiful at drawing in perspective (to the point that it is believable) so I opted to go with a full cut-out - and then decided I was OK with what the outline provided with the poster-edge effect. Also, I see I have missed a few spots that need touch up as well...
Thanks again.

wow... Thank you for going above and beyond the call of duty. This is very useful information. I also followed the thread and looked at the shadow you put under Jim's AMX and it looks "guesstimate-able". And, looking at the different backgrounds you tried (for the AMX) gave me some ideas that I would like to try. PhotosGuy gets the "Rock Star" award for C&C. Much appreciated.
