Monterey Historic's 2009

Here is the first image out my selects from the two days I spent in Monterey at Laguna Seca for the 36th Annual Monterey Historics. I shot this Friday afternoon coming out of turn 7 with a 1D Mark III and ef300 mm 2.8L lens at 1/125th sec with the iso set at 50.

That photo looks a little soft (but shows a good sense of speed).

Thats the general idea. I was trying to achieve an image that showed the speed of these cars and the great setting they race in.
