Top fuel hydro crash at about 200 mph. Thanks to the rescue team and the safety features the driver swam away without a scratch.

Ok you say the driver swam away...I thought the were in capsuls. Either way you got some good shots. Should we take bets on what the pilot is saying right about now? thanks for posting

They are in Capsules, but i think he was joking like race car drivers walking away from a bad crash. The boater would naturally swim away.:cool:

ok, that was my line of thinking to. Kind thought if he got crashed hard enough to come out of the capsul AND swim he was like superman.

And we cry when we drop an L lens and break the front glass. :) Poor guy lost way more than a grand as he watches his hardware sink to the bottom of the river.

Nice catch though.

This was a Top Alcohol Flat and I'm sure the retrieved the motor off of the bottom of the river. I got some simular shots of the same crash, mostly water spray in mine though. Good shots!
