This is a picture I took last week at the Havasupai falls in the Grand Canyon. Please let me know what you think.

Wow, that's beautiful. Almost looks 3D. Someone should paint it.

Very nice. Would it add anything to the picture if the top portion (i.e., the sky) is cropped out? Any thought?

Very nice colors and effect. I agree with Leorooster, this will be better without top portion.

I think the sky gives the photo one more depth layer.....I'd personally leave it as the eye sees it. Gorgeous photo, well composed.

I can definitely try cropping it and reposting later tonight to see what you think.
Thanks for all the input. This is my first attempt with my Rebel XT.

If you scroll down your computer screen cutting off about the top half right where the base of the waterfall hits, and visualize it as a horizontal, it allows you to be absorbed into the water at the bottom. Really nice!

Very refreshing and peaceful looking picture. And very well captured. Hard to believe it really exists. The sky doesn't bother me but (isn't there always a butt in there) perhaps some color added to the sky?

Very well done. I like it with the sky, give it more depth. The only small part that distracts my eye is the tree that is (apparently) in the upper waterfall that is sticking into the sky, it wasnt's to attract the eye away from the water (for me at least).
